About the Designers 
Nicole Martinez and Jayne Malasko are co-owners and founders of Briolette. They are local artists and designers who formalized their lifelong passion for art, beauty and nature by coming together to design jewelry. Their design muse is global, reflecting not only the eclectic metropolis they inhabit, but the culturally diverse cities and countries they have traveled to and lived in which have infused their work with artistic inspiration.
Having been close friends since childhood, Nicole and Jayne traveled widely after graduating from The University of Texas in Austin and Trinity and St. Edwards University. They reunited when they both moved back to their beloved Austin, and continued to cultivate their common interest in jewelry design.
After much enthusiasm from friends and family, they founded Briolette in 2009. Since then, they have traveled to New York, San Francisco, Los Angeles, and South Texas to feature their work in trunk shows. Their creations can also be found in retail locations such as Viva Day Spa and Salon Aura in Austin, Texas, as well as Manhattan Denim in Manhattan Beach, California.
